Honour women

Thursday, 28 August 2008

WITH the development of knowledge and science, superstition and narrowness is gradually declining. But the honour due to women is still not given.

By virtue of their own brain, women are achieving their position in educational institutions, offices, the legal profession and other work-places. No doubt they achieved a great deal of advancement. It is a matter of great frustration that attitude to, and behaviour with, women do not always conform to civilised standards. We often do not behave well with our female colleagues. This hinders development of our country and new generation.

There is no good reason to corner women. They have their right to education and advancement.

For this, however, our attitude needs to change. Men must give up the attitude they had to women in the dark ages. Women deserve due respect of men. By trying to undermine women, men would only belittle themselves.
