Hoping a clean sweep for the Tigers!
Wednesday, 12 November 2014
After quite some time the Tigers have had the taste of success in cricket. Obviously they have been celebrating it along with the sports lovers of the country. Inclusion of Shakib has definitely injected new life into the side and inspired the whole team to play to their potential. Cricket, like all other games, is becoming increasingly competitive and there is hardly any room for complacence. Therefore the Tigers must work harder to become a better team.
Bangladesh is no longer a newbie in international cricket. We cannot afford to put forward excuses like "we are learning" and "gaining valuable experience" any longer after every defeat. The Tigers must try and lift themselves to higher levels. Success in any sport creates more enthusiasm for the game and attracts more spectators and sponsors which are vital for its development. Opening batsman Imrul kayes has been included in the squad for the third Test in place of Shamsur Rahman and I am sure the inclusion of Imrul will strengthen the batting line-up of the home team. I hope the Tigers will win the last test match against Zimbabwe and complete a historic whitewash.6
