A re-launch of Horlicks carrying a logo stating the proven claim that Horlicks is "now proven - taller, stronger, sharper" - was unveiled Sunday at a city hotel.

Mahbub Jamil, special assistant to the Chief Adviser for ministries of industries, youth, sports, civil aviation and tourism joined the re-launching programme as chief guest.

Addressing the programme, special assistant to the Industries ministry said that there is no alternative then to raise business activities for strengthening the economy.

"We want changes in the society. How will it happen? It will happen through speedy running of wheels of the economy," he added.

Citing the negative propaganda on the windfall profit by the businessmen, Mr Mahbub stressed the need for honest business activities in the country.

Chairman of Mutual Group, Azimuddin gave the welcome address at the programme.

Meherban Singh, former professor and head of department of pediatrics and neonatology division in all India Institute Medical Science joined the programme as special guest.

Mr Singh elaborated on a clinical study conducted by an independent group of nutritionists and scientists in India.

"Results from this study have established that the group of children who drank Horlicks were significantly "taller, stronger and sharper than those of children in the control group, who did not get the Horlicks micronutrients," he added.
