Hosiery worker killed in N\\\'ganj

A worker was killed allegedly by his co-worker over a trifling matter at a hosiery factory in Naranyanganj city. The deceased was identified Sharif Hossain Bokul, 20, hailing from Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj and a worker of Siam Fashion. Police arrested accused murderer Jaman and his co-workers Altaf, Rakib, Sohag and Mizanur. Jaman said Monday noon he and Bokul had an altercation as he asked Bokul to stop listening songs with high volume. At one stage, Bakul and Jaman locked in scuffling and Jaman knocked down Bokul. Later, injured Bokul was taken to Narayanganj General Hospital, where on-duty doctors declared him dead. Sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Anowar Hossain said police arrested Jaman and four other workers of the factory in connection with the incident, according to a news agency.
