Hot weather paralyses life in country

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over the various parts of the country, reports BSS
As a result, life in the country, particularly in the northern region, has been almost paralysed.
The heat wave forced the people to stay in their houses or cooler places to avoid hottest weather.
Meteorologists warned that there would be no immediate relief from soaring temperatures because of sweeping heat wave as well as less rainfall may prolong in the country.
Temperature and humidity have increased sharply across the country due to lack of rainfall that causes intolerable heat wave creating immense sufferings to the people and making life almost paralysed in northern region.  According to a Met Office bulletin, mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Barisal and Patuakhali and it may spread over the rest part of Rajshahi and Barisal divisions.
In Dhaka city, day labourers were seen finding difficulties to continue their works during unbearable heat and they had to take break frequently from their works to cope with unusual hot weather.
