Housemaid found dead in Badda

A teenaged domestic assistant was found dead in Uttar (north) Badda area in Dhaka city on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Farida, 15, daughter of Chan Mia of Netyrakona district. Police said Farida had been working as a domestic help at the residence of one Sirajul Islam for the last three months. Police quoting her employer said the inmates of Sirajul Islam’s residence, including Sirajul and his wife Minara Begum, found Farida’s hanging body in the house around 6pm on Sunday. Being informed police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital following recovery, according to private TV channels.
