Housewife chopped to death in Nachole

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 25 (BSS): A housewife was chopped to death allegedly by her husband at Ghion village under Nachole upazila of the district early this morning.
The deceased was identified as Selina Begum (50), wife of Hajrat Ali, a resident of the same village.
Officer-in-charge of Nachole Thana Tariqul Islam said Selina locked into an altercation with her husband Hajrat Ali over a family matter early this morning.
At one stage, Hajrat chopped Selina indiscriminately with a sharp weapon at about 3.00 am, leaving her critically injured.
