Housewife commits suicide in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Nov 29: A housewife committed suicide by hanging herself from a mango tree near her home over a family feud in Ramchandropur village under Shoilokupa upazila of Jhenidah district on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Selina Khatun (35), wife of Islam Uddin of the village.
Sources said that she had a quarrel with her mother in-law over a trivial matter hours before taking the fatal step.
On information police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Jhenidah General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed in this connection.
