Housewife dies from burn injuries

CHANDPUR, Oct 26 (UNB): A housewife, who sustained severe burn injuries on Monday, succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Fatema Begum, 22, wife of a farmer of Khonerchar village in Matlab North upazila.
Police said Fatema received severe burn injuries when a gang of miscreants set their house afire over a previous enmity on Monday night. However, her husband and only son managed to escape unhurt.
Fatema was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she died Tuesday noon.
A case was filed.
