Housewife dies from snakebite

A 32-year old woman died from snakebite in village Koyradanga of Khadempur union under Alamdanga Upazila of the district Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Lipi Khatun (32), mother of two children, wife of Zenarul Islam of village Koyradanga of the Upazila.
The victim family members and local sources said when Lipi Khatun was sweeping her bedroom, a venomous snake bit her. Later, family members rescued her in a critical condition and rushed her to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor pronounced her dead.
