Housewife electrocuted in Jessore

A housewife died from electrocution at Hatbila village in Sadar upazila of Jessore district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Renu Begum, 31, wife of Badshah Haldar of the village. Sources said Renu came in contact with a live electric wire while doing household chores around 8pm, leaving her critically injured. Later she was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead, according to a news agency.
