Housewife electrocuted in Jhenidah

A housewife died of electrocution at Rajanagar village in Shailakupa upazila of Jhenidah on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Monjera Begum, 54, wife of Abdul Majid Master of the village. Firoj Ahmed, local UP chairman said Monjera came in contact with a live electric wire in her kitchen around 12:30pm, leaving her injured. She was taken to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital where doctor declared her dead, according to a news agency.
