Housewife found dead in Gaibandha

Police recovered the body of a housewife at Chapadah village in Sadar upazila in Gaibandha district on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Hosne Ara, wife of Babu Miah, a resident of the village. Gopal Chandra, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Hosne Ara, daughter of Sadekul Islam of Kurarpara village, remained missing since last Wednesday. As a bad odour was coming out from a ditch besides the house of Babu in the evening, locals informed police who recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital for autopsy at about 9:30 pm. Police arrested Babu’s parents Moksed Ali and Romana Begum. A case was filed, according to UNB.
