Housewife killed by \\\'husband\\\' in Sunamganj

A housewife was killed allegedly by her husband over family feud at Sadar upazila in Sunamganj district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Papia, 25, wife of Kamal Hossain of Bhoishobher village. Quoting locals, police said Kamal and his wife Papia picked up a quarrel over family matter in the afternoon. At one stage, Kamal hit Papia with an iron rod, leaving her critically injured. She died on way to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital. Neighbours caught Kamal after a hot chase and handed him over to police. Abdul Hye, officer-in-charge of Sadar Model Police Station, confirmed the incident. A case was filed, according to UNB.
