Housewife killed by in-laws in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Oct 25 (UNB): A housewife was beaten to death allegedly by her in-laws at Kadakati village in Ashashuni upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Jharna Das, wife of Haradhan Das of the village.
Police said Jharna's father-in-law Surya Kanta Das, mother-in-law and brother-in-law Sadhan Kumar Das used to torture her often over family feud.
On Friday morning, they beat up Jharna over a trifling matter, leaving her dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy. Police arrested Surya and Sadhan in this connection.
