Housewife killed by lightning

A teen-aged housewife was killed by lightning at village Taranagar under Kalmakanda upazila of the Netrakona district Monday.Police and local people said the dead was identified as Hajera Khatun (31), wife of Kamrul Mia of the same village. Hajera died on the spot as she was struck by a thunder bolt during rainfall as she came out from her house, the sources said. -BSS
