Housewife killed in Narayanganj

NARAYANGANJ, July 3 (BSS): A housewife was murdered by her husband's elder brother at Nabiganj-Islambag area under Bandar upazila of the district early this morning.
The victim Taslima Begum, 36, is mother of three children and wife of Monir Hossain of the same area.
Police said Taslima suffered critical injuries as the elder brother Amir Hossain attacked her with a sharp weapon as a sequel to previous enmity.
Critically injured Taslima was sent to Bandar Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctors declared her dead.
Police arrested Shilpi Begum, wife of Amir Hossain, for interrogation.
Police sent the body to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
