Housewife murdered \\\'by husband\\\'

A housewife has been killed allegedly by her husband by the hit of axe at Parihara village in Kahalu upazila in Bogra. The victim was identified as Ismat Ara Begum, 35, wife of Abu Bakar of the village. Kahalu Police Station officer-in-charge Tofazzal Hossain said the couple had often locked in quarrel for economic miseries in the family. On the fateful night of Monday at one stage of brawl, Bakar hit Ismat in the head with an axe, leaving her dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the district hospital for an autopsy. Police arrested the husband, according to UNB.
