Housewife slaughtered by miscreants

NATORE, July 26 (BSS): A housewife was slaughtered by unidentified miscreants at Sidhuli village under Gurudashpur upazila of the district last midnight, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Monjuara Begum, 26, wife of Manik Mian, an expatriate living in Singapore.
Quoting witnesses, police said Monjuara was residing in the house along with her only daughter Munni, a student of class two. On the day of the incident, some unidentified miscreants went to the house at midnight and slaughtered her. Hearing the sound of groaning, local people rushed to the spot but the miscreants managed to flee away.
Faridul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Gurudaspur Police Station said investigation is going on to find out the reason behind the murder and bring the killers to book.
