Housewife slaughtered in Barisal

Some miscreants slaughtered a housewife at her house in Chandramohon Bazar under Saheberhat Bandar Police Station in Barisal Sadar Upazila on Monday. The deceased was identified as Saleha Begum, 43, wife of Yunus Matubbar of the area. Being informed, a police team from Saheberhat Bandar thana rushed in and recovered the slaughtered body from the victim's house and sent it to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Rejaul Karim said miscreants might have killed Saleha early in the morning when her husband went to say Fajr prayers. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
