Housewife\\\'s hanging body found in Moulvibazar

Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from her residence in Sreemangal upazila in Moulvibazar on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Swapna Dev, 25, wife of Pavitra Dev of in Shankarsena village under Ashidron union of the upazila. Ronendra Prashad Bardhan, chairman of the upazila, said family members found Swapna’s body hanging from the ceiling of her bedroom and informed police. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. Omer Faruq, officer-in-charge of Sreemangal police station, said an unnatural death case was filed in this connection, adding police were looking into whether the incident was a suicide or murder, according to UNB.
