Housewife\\\'s throat-slit body recovered

A woman was slaughtered and her body was dumped in a room of her house at Katakhali village in Patuakhali Sadar Upazila at some times between Friday night and early Saturday. The deceased was identified as Beauty Begum, 45, a housewife and resident of the village. Being informed police recovered rushed in and recovered the throat slashed body from her house on Saturday morning. The body was sent to Patuakhali Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Jakir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident. He said receiving information from the deceased’s family members they recovered the body of Beauty from her house in the morning. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
