The DCCI director said this at the certificate awarding ceremony of the training course on 'Human Resources Development' organised by the DCCI Business Institute (DBI) on the DBI premises in the city recently.
The course was aimed at familiarising the topics -- introduction and brief history of HRD, modern HR management functions, job analysis, recruitment, human resource planning, performance management system, motivation of HR, compensation and benefits packages, and staff development and success in planning.
DCCI Deputy Secretary (Training) and Course Co-ordinator Md Jawadur Rahman Chowdhury responded to different suggestions of the participants as he moderated the session.
HR development events start with disciplinary procedures, Safina said.
She urged upon the participants to use the acquired knowledge. She gave assurance to the participants that the DBI would consider the valuable suggestions in devising the future programmes. She distributed the certificates among the participants.
Participants gave their opinion about the course and urged for organising more such courses.
