HSBC helps flood-hit farmers from non-printing of Eid cards

HSBC Bangladesh donated winter vegetable seeds among the flood-affected farmers in Manikganj saving money not printing Eid greetings cards this year as part of its CSR activities.
Every year the bank opts out of printing greeting cards for various special occasions. But keeping aligned with its humanitarian stance, the bank decided not to print the cards.
Earlier, the bank decided to donate the money, saved from non-printing of the cards, among the flood victims in Manikganj.
HSBC officials distributed the seeds among 500 farmers at Tebura village of the district.
The bank also arranged separate Iftar parties recently for 200 street-urchins of Karwan Bazaar area and for 380 orphans at Sir Salimullah Muslim Orphanage in the city.
