HSBC opens branch at Chawk Bazaar

HSBC has opened a new branch in Chawk Bazaar area of old city to cater to the variety of businesses operating in that region.
City Group of Industries Chairman Fazlur Rahman and HSBC Bangladesh Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sanjay Prakash inaugurated the new branch through a small ceremony on the branch premises recently.
This new branch will provide the customers of the commercial hub with the opportunity to transact all their business-related needs through one of the world's leading financial institutions.
At the opening, Prakash said that HSBC was proud to be able to offer the business houses as well as the residents of this area better banking opportunities through the branch office.
Fazlur Rahman provided the first transaction for the branch office.
HSBC Head of Corporate Banking Md Mahbub-ur-Rahman and head of Personal Financial Services Md Shafquat Hossain and other senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.
This is HSBCs 11th office in Bangladesh, said a press release.
