HSBC wins ICMAB award

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in Bangladesh has been recognised as the ‘Best Foreign Commercial Bank’ at the ICAMB Best Corporate Awards 2013. Organised by the Institute of Cost and Management Accounts of Bangladesh, the award is one of the most prestigious corporate recognition programmes in Bangladesh. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith attended the programme as the Chief Guest and handed over the trophies to the winners. Steve Ball, Chief Financial Officer, received the award for HSBC Bangladesh. Commenting on this recognition, Andrew Tilke – Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh, said, “We are delighted to receive this award which is a testament to HSBCs strong governance, financial strength and Global capabilities. HSBC recognise the importance of Bangladesh as part of the Global supply chain and we work hard to provide quality services to our valued customers as well as link them to international opportunities. Receipt of this award will encourage us to redouble our efforts in this respect.," according to a statement.
