HSBC's SSP clients to get Tk 100 free talk-time of GP

Grameenphone subscribers can enjoy free talk-time worth Tk 100 for opening one unit of Smart Savers Plan (SSP) at any of the HSBC branches in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. This offer will remain valid until June 20.
A 'Thankyou' partnership agreement between GrameenPhone Ltd and the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) was signed in this connection recently, says a press release.
HSBC Head of Personal Finance Services Md Shafquat Hossain and Grameenphone Deputy General Manager of Commercial Division Fahad Saleh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Smart Savers Plan is a deposit scheme of HSBC, whereby customers can make an initial deposit of a minimum of Tk 5,000 and subsequent monthly deposits of Tk 1,000 and receive the funds along with accrued interest after a period of 3 years. Customers can purchase as many units of SSP as they want.
HSBC Manager (strategy and project management) Mustafizur Rahman and Corporate Sustainability and Communications Manager Sami-Al Hafiz, Grameenphone Deputy Manager (marketing) Wasim Haider and other senior officials of the two organisations were also present on the occasion.
