DU CorrespondentbrThe results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Alim and HSC Vocational Examinations-2008 will be published today (Wednesday) throughout the country simultaneously.brEducation Adviser Hossain Zillur Rahman will brief journalists about the results at a press conference at the education ministry at 12 noon today, a press release of the ministry said. brExaminees can collect their results from respective educational institutions after 2 pm. Results will also be available on the website of the computer centres of the education boards- www.educationboard.gov.bd.brResult seekers having connections of Grameenphone, Banglalink, Aktel, CityCell and Teletalk may get their results sending short message service (SMS) through mobile phone.brTo collect the results through SMS, one has to type the first three letters of respective education board (for example, Dhaka=DHA), give a space, type the roll number and then send to 4636 or 2323. brA total of 6, 20,020 students appeared at the HSC, Alim and HSC Vocational Exams this year. Of them, 5, 02,796 are under the seven general education boards (HSC), 62,505 under the Madrasah Education Board and 54,719 under the Technical Education Board, sources close to the Dhaka Education Board said. br
