The education ministry said Saturday that the HSC and equivalent examinations would be held today (Sunday) as scheduled, as there was no great fallout reported in the southeastern cyclone-hit districts, reports bdnews24.com.
"Students are asked not to be confused about the exam schedule," Senior Information Officer of the ministry Sabud Chandra Dali said.
Education ministry officials were assigned Friday to look into calls and be prepared for possible rescheduling of exams in cyclone-hit areas.
"After receiving reports from the deputy commissioners of the Bijli-hit districts, the board authorities have decided to continue all exams on schedule," said Dali Saturday.
"The English second paper will be held tomorrow (Sunday) as per the schedule," he added.
