The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be out on August 13, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement on Thursday, ending a long wait of more than 1.1 million students who appeared for the HSC and equivalent examinations-2014. The government faced much criticism over leakage of the HSC English (second paper) examination in April. The exam had to be rescheduled for the leakage. A total of 1141,378 students appeared for this year’s exams held across the country from April 3 to June 16, according to private TV channels.
