HSC results Wednesday

Tuesday, 12 August 2014

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published Wednesday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban at 10am.
Later, the minister will formally announce the results at a press briefing at his office at 1pm, deputy chief information office of the Education Ministry Subodh Chandra Dhali told UNB.
All the examination centres and educational institutions have been asked to collect the results from their respective education boards through websites.
The institutions concerned have been recommended using their respective EIIN numbers to download the results through the webmail available at this website: www.educationboard.gov.bd.
The examinees have been asked to collect their results from their respective institutions, or from the websites of their respective boards.
This year, five parameters -- percentage of regular students passing the exam, percentage of passing students, percentage of students getting GPA-5, number of examinees and the average GPA of the institutions -- have been used to determine top educational institutions.
