Huawei in Fortune Global 500 first time in 2010

Huawei Technologies Limited, a leader in providing next generation telecommunication networks has reached Fortune Global 500 companies by revenue for the first time, ranking 397th.
The U.S. magazine "Fortune" published 2010 Fortune Global 500 list on July 9. Huawei ranked 397 with annual sales of 21.8 billion U.S. dollars and net profit of 2.67 billion U.S. dollars in 2009 despite challenging economic environment in 2009.
Huawei, the Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer is one of the major suppliers of telecom equipment in Bangladesh. Its major clients include Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi, Citycell, Teletalk and Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited.
Huawei now serves 45 of the world's top 50 operators, along with over one billion users worldwide. The company is committed to providing innovative and customized products, services and solutions to create long-term value and growth potential for its customers.
