Huge cache of Yaba pills seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 50,000 Yaba tablets at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar during a drive in Nayaparha area on Sunday.
BGB-42 Battalion Commander Lt Col Abu Zar Al Jahid told bdnews24.com that the tablets were worth Tk15 million.
No one could be arrested during the drive, bdnews24.com reported.
On Saturday, BGB seized 50,000 Yaba tablets from Nazirparha area.
Meanwhile, police in Chittagong arrested one Samiul Haque with 10,000 yaba tablets.
Baklia Police Station OC Mohammad Mohsin said he was travelling from Cox’s Bazar to Narayanganj.
The Yaba tablets were found during a search in the bus by which he was travelling, he added.
