Huge gold haul at Shahjalal airport

Customs officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport seized 60 gold bars weighing about 7 kg from an aircraft of Regent Airways on Wednesday evening. Tipped off, a special team of customs officials conducted a search in the aircraft of Regent Airways that came from Bangkok after its passengers got down at the airport following its landing around 6:00 pm and recovered the gold worth about Tk 30.29 million, according to a news agency.
