Human capital report puts BD ahead of India

Bangladesh has been placed ahead of India in the Human Capital Report 2015 of the World Economic Forum (WEF), released last week. The report, which includes 124 countries, placed Bangladesh in the 99th position, one notch ahead of India. The country also secured the third position among the SAARC countries after Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Sri Lanka was ranked 60th and Bhutan 87th. Nepal secured 106th position, Myanmar 112th and Pakistan 113th. — BSS
