Human chain demands arrest of Roni killers

NARSINGDI, Mar 31 (BSS): A human chain demanding an immediate arrest of the killers of Billal Hossain Roni, General Secretary of Narsingdi Government College Students Union and president of the college unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal was held in front of the Collectorate Office here Wednesday. Roni was shot and chopped to death on March 15 inside the college. The human chain, participated by the college students, teachers, guardians and BNP local leaders with banners and festoons and led by principal of Narsingdi Government College Professor Abu Bakker Sideque, started from Narsingdi Press Club premises and ended in front of the Collectorate Office. General Secretary of Narsingdi District BNP Toffazal Hossain, Upazila Chairman of Narsingdi Sadar Munzul Elahi, former GS of Narsingdi Government College Dipak Kumar Prince and other leaders of associated bodies of the BNP, among others, addressed in the human chain.
