Humanitarian corridor in Gaza needed

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has already turned into a catastrophe and caused an inhuman situation in Gaza. The freedom-loving civilians in Gaza have been grappling with the incessant attacks from Israeli forces and all types of crises including clean water, food, energy, medical health facilities and basic services. Israel wants to create a human disaster in Gaza by blocking the border which is the only way to reach humanitarian aids. Consequently, Hamas will lose its power and authority which will lead the forces of Israel to take over Gaza. Regrettably, Both Israel and international communities have still turned a blind eye to the plight of innocent people especially children and women who have nothing to do with this war. Hundreds of people are dying every day on account of the atrocities of Israel. According to the latest numbers, 447 children have been killed in Gaza, UNICEF spokesperson James Elder said, citing Palestinian health ministry figures. The recent Israeli airstrike on a Gaza hospital, where 500 people perished, is horrifying. The Israeli act should be labelled a war crime by the world leaders.
It is extremely distressing that the cries of Palestinian people have failed to draw attention of world leaders especially the western countries. The leaders who support the independence of Palestine are also not doing anything effective and impactful. Most of the international organisations including the United Nations and the World Health Organization have been urging to introduce ceasefire from both parties, open borders so that Palestinian civilians can get international relief and immediately the civilians can be evacuated from this territory. Being a small territory of about 139 square miles and blockaded by Israel, the people of this land are experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis. To save these innocent lives, there is a need for opening up a humanitarian corridor for the civilians to leave the territory for a safe and secured place.
