Humanoid robot to bring revolutionary change

Speakers at a seminar Monday said humanoid robot can speak different languages, carry out roll calls and set tasks, scold children and make six facial expressions - anger, surprise, fear, disgust, sadness and happiness, reports BSS.
They said the humanoid robot as the latest scientific innovation will bring a revolutionary change in every sector in the modern world in near future as human eyes can interact with it.
The speakers said this while addressing a seminar on "Eye Tacking for Hmanoid Robot" at Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB) in the city Monday.
The Asian University Computer Club (AUCC) under the guidance of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the AUB organised the seminar.
Presided over by Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Prof Dr Azharul Islam, the seminar was addressed by Vice-Chancellor of AUB Prof Dr Abulhasan M Sadeq as the chief guest and News Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) MA Aziz as the special guest. Chairman of the Computer Science and Engineering of Jahangirnagar University Prof Dr Al Amin Bhuiyan was the keynote speaker.
The idea of the seminar was unique and interesting as it described how eyes could interact with the robot.
