Humiliating Bauls

A report on the matter, was published in a local English daily on April 13; when some unruly youth, instigated by a half-baked (or raw, for that matter) and definitely illiterate cleric of Pangsha in Rajbari, who humiliated some Bauls by shaving their mustache and beard! The cleric needs to be trimmed to size, by slow baking in solitary confinement (if possible, perpetually) in a prison; for his criminal instigation, that led to the humiliation of Bauls. What are the law and order authorities are doing about this? Have the criminal cleric, and the persons involved in doing the misdemeanour taken to task? If this is not done, then it will seem that the law enforcers will appear to be a party to this misdeed; that has cast a slur on the democratic practices in Bangladesh! These ignorant and illiterate clerics are ignoring the fundamental teachings of Islam, which insists on tolerance and acceptance of all people of all faith. These clerics are criminals according to the norms of Islam. They are public enemies to society and religion and its free practices. They deserve harsh punishment for encouraging such criminal acts. We the readers, will appreciate if you kindly follow up on the matter to report on what action has been taken on the cleric (raw or half-baked) and his followers for their unlawful activities.
