IAB unveils 30-pt manifesto, vows to prioritise Shariah

Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) has unveiled its 30-point election manifesto, pledging to run the country by giving precedence to Shariah law in pursuit of what it described as 'permanent peace' and the 'total liberation of humanity,' reports bdnews24.com.
The party said if elected, it would introduce a 'morally rich, action-oriented, and science-based' education system. It also promised not only to ensure equal rights for women but to prioritise them, while guaranteeing religious freedom, security, and 'mutual coexistence.
IAB chief Charmonai Pir Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim announced the manifesto at the party's central office in the capital's Purana Paltan on Wednesday.
