IACD, Begum Rokeya, Human Rights Day observed in Chapainawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 26 (BSS): International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD), Begum Rokeya Day and Human Rights Day were observed through different programmes here on Saturday.
Committee of the Concerned Citizen (CCC), Chapainawabganj of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) arranged rally, discussion meeting, prize distribution and cultural function on the occasion.
The rally was brought out from College Road in the afternoon and after parading the main roads of the town it ended at Shahid Satu Hall.
A discussion meeting was held with the president of the CCC Advocate Saiful Islam Reza in the chair.
It was addressed, among others, by additional deputy commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Nazrul Islam as the chief guest, advisor of the CCC Professor Dr M Siraj Uddin, revenue deputy collector (RDC) M Monir Hossain and founder of MM Hoque School Mozammel Hoque.
