Iajuddin hosts reception for Hindu community leaders

President Iajuddin Ahmed and his wife Prof Anwara Begum hosted a reception for members of the Hindu community at Bangabhaban Thursday on the occasion of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Community.
President Iajuddin and his wife welcomed the guests and exchanged greetings with them.
Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Manik Lal Samaddar was present on the occasion.
Diplomats, including Indian High Commissioner Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty, Sri Lankan High Commissioner V Krishnamoorthy and Nepalese Ambassador Pradeep Khatiwada, also attended the reception.
Hindu religious personalities and community leaders, including Principal of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Swami Aksarananda Moharaj and Maj Gen (retd) CR Dutta, different professionals, and high civil and military officials also exchanged greetings with the President.
Secretary of the President's Office Md Sirajul Islam, Military Secretary to the President Major General Mohammad Ruhul Amin and President's Press Secretary Abdul Awal Howlader were also present on the occasion.
