The Annual Business and Development Conference-2010 of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) was held in the city Friday.
Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, chairman of the bank's board of directors, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest.
Mustafa Anwar, vice chairman of the bank, Md Eskander Ali Khan, chairman of the executive committee, and Md Shahidul Islam, chairman of the audit committee, attended the conference and spoke as special guests on the occasion.
Presided over by M Fariduddin Ahmad, managing director of the bank, the programme was also attended by Hafizul Islam Mian, Mohammed Nazrul Islam and ATM Ataur Rahman, directors, Prof Abu Bakr Rafique, member secretary of the Shari'ah Council, Mohd Shamsul Haque, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Md Habibur Rahman and Md Setaur Rahman, deputy managing directors of the bank. Executives, managers and incharges of the head office, Dhaka central, north, south and Mymensingh zones and SME service centres of the bank were present at the conference.
