IBBL biz dev confce begins

A two-day business development conference of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited began at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka on Saturday. Professor Md. Nazmul Hassan, Ph.D, Chairman of the bank inaugurated the conference as chief guest, said a statement.
The conference disclosed that as on December 31, 2018 IBBL has reached deposit milestone of Tk.823 billion by adding more than Tk.67 billion in its deposit portfolio.
The bank has achieved general investment base of Tk.797 billion. IBBL reached the milestone of 13 million clients. IBBL has consolidated its leadership in handling import, export and remittance business of Tk.399 billion, Tk.251 billion and Tk.275 billion respectively in 2018.
The chairman in the speech of chief guest expressed his satisfaction over the business target achievement in 2018.
To accelerate the growth of the bank, he directed the concerned to modernise the internal research and training system.
He called upon the concerned to provide more scope to the youth so that they can overcome the upcoming challenges.
