IBBL board reelects chairman, vice chairmen

Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher and Mr Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi and Engineer Mustafa Anwar have been reelected chairman and vice chairmen respectively of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL).
The board of directors of the bank at its recent meeting reelected them. Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher presided over the meeting, said a press release.
An executive committee (EC) was formed making Engr Md Eskander Ali Khan its chairman. Other members of the EC are Prof Abu Ahmad, Dr Abdulhameed Fouad Al?Khateeb, Hafizul Islam Mian, Engineer Muhammad Dawood Khan, Mohammad Nazrul Islam and Dr Md Shafiqur Rahman.
An Audit Committee of the bank was also formed making Md Shahidul Islam its chairman and Md Abdus Salam and ATM Ataur Rahman members.
Foreign and local directors including Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi, representative of Al-Rajhi Company for Industry and Trade, KSA, Dr Abdulhameed Fouad Al-Khateeb of KSA, Wasim Ahmed of Islamic Development Bank and Mohammad Abdullah Al Jalahma of Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation were present at the meeting, the release added.
