IBBL branch managers urged to ensure prompt service

Branch managers of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) have been urged to ensure prompt service through the application of advanced information technology (IT).
Chairman of the executive committee of the bank Mominul Islam Patwary made the appeal while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of a half yearly branch managers' conference of Chittagong zone of the bank in Chittagong recently, said a press release.
He also called upon the branch managers to implement the policies relating to investment through proper justification.
The chief guest further asked them to reduce overhead costs and classified loans as far as possible.
Executive Vice President and Zonal Head of Chittagong zone AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury presided over the conference while Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad and Deputy Executive President ATM Harun-ur-Rashid Chowdhury were the special guests.
Fariduddin Ahmad expre-ssed satisfaction over the progress achieved in the previous six months of Chittagong zone.
He also urged the branch managers to enhance the ethical standard of the incumbents side by side increasing their professional standard for developing customer service.
ATM Harun-ur-Rashid Chowdhury in his address urged the branch managers to make investment more developed, sustainable and lucrative by providing right suggestions to the investment clients in all possible sectors.
