IBBL continues to distribute relief materials for flood victims

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has taken massive or conducting post-flood rehabilitation activities. This was decided in a meeting of relief activities conducting committee formed by the bank in the city recently.
Chaired by Vice Chairman of the bank Zainul Abedin, the meeting ended, among others, by Director Md Eskander Ali, Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmed and Rural Development Scheme SVP Md Obaidul Hoque.
The bank has allocated further Tk 1.0 million (10 lakh) for distribution purposes.
The bank has already conducted relief distribution programmes amounting to Tk 15 million. Employees of the bank donated their one-day's salary for the flood victims. Besides, Islami Bank Foundation contributed Tk 3.6 million for relief and rehabilitation purposes.
Meherpur branch of the bank distributed relief goods among the flood victims. Deputy Commissioner of Meherpur Md Atahar Ali, Meherpur Government Women's College Principal KM Morshedul Bari and Manager of the branch Amirul Islam were present, among others, on the occasion.
The IBBL Doulatpur branch distributed relief goods among the flood victims at Dighilia Upazilla. Nirbahi Officer of Daulatpur Upazilla Md Daud Ali, Manager of the branch Md Shafiul Azam and Dighinala Union Chairman Md Haider Ali Morol were present at the programme.
Rangpur branch of the bank distributed relief materials among the flood-affected people at Laxmitary and Nohali unions under Gangachara Upazila of the district. Assistant Vice President of the bank Md Kaisar Ali and Manager Md Nazrul Islam were present on the occasion.
Islami Bank Officers' Welfare Association (IBOWA) distributed relief goods among the flood-affected people at Aminbazar of Savar Thana. IBBL SVP and IBOWA President Asheque Ahmed Jebal, SVP and IBOWA Treasurer Md Obaidul Haque and Assistant Vice President and Manager of Aminbazar branch Md Mizanur Rahman were present on the occasion.
IBOWA Narayanganj branch distributed relief materials among three hundred flood-hit families. IBBL SVP, Manager of Narayanganj branch and IBOWA Treasurer Md Obaidul Hoque and SVP Asgar Md Aslam, Vice President Abu Reza Md Yeahia and Assistant Vice President Md Mizanur Rahman Mizi were present on the occasion.
Moreover, IBOWA distributed relief materials among the flood-hit people of Dhashura, Joyra, and Golda areas of Manikganj district. Vice presidents of the bank Md Yeanur Rahaman and Md Rokan Uddin, Assistant vice presidents Md Mahbub Alam and Md Jafar Alam and Manager of Manikganj branch Md Zillur Rahman accompanied the relief team.
