IBBL distributes relief goods among flood victims

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) and Islami Bank Foundation jointly distributed relief goods including foods and cloths at Sariakandi, Sonatola and Dhunat of Bogra district, Sirajganj, Fulsori of Gaibandha, Bera Upazila of Pabna, Belkuchi, Kamarkhand and Enayetpur among the flood-affected and destitute people.
Islami Bank Foundation, Bogra distributed relief goods among 600 flood-affected and helpless people at Sariakandi, Sonatola and Dhunut in Bogra.
IBBL Executive Vice-president and its Bogra Zonal Head Abdul Kader led the relief distribution programme. UNO of Sariakandi Wahidur Rahman, Principal of Sariakandi Degree College Shab Uddin and IBBL Bogra Branch Manager Fayz Ahmad were present on the occasion.
Sirajganj Branch of the bank distributed relief goods among one thousand flood-affected families last Friday.
Chaired by IBBL Assistant Vice-president and Sirajganj Branch Manager AKM Shafiar Rahman, the relief distribution programme was attended, among others, by local Civil Surgeon Abdur Rouf as the chief guest.
IBBL Gaibandha Branch Friday distributed relief goods among four hundred flood-affected families under the leadership of local Branch Manager Jahangir Alam. UNO of Fulsori thana Habibur Rahman was present on the occasion.
Under the supervision of its Kashinathpur Branch Manager Muhammad Anisur Rahman, the IBBL distributed seven hundred packets of relief goods among the flood victims at Jathsakini and Natun Varenga Union under Bera Upazila in Pabna Saturday.
Moreover, under the supervision of Kurigram Branch, relief distribution activities had also been carried out Saturday. Two teams consisting of 20 members led by local Branch Manager Nuruzzaman distributed relief materials among eight hundred families.
Besides, the Islami Bank Foundation distributed relief goods among four hundred families.
Belkuchi Branch distributed relief goods among flood victims' families at Belkuchi, Kamarkhand and Enayetpur thana.
Belkuchi thana UNO Md Khairul Alam Sheikh, social worker Principal Md Ali Alam and Belkuchi Press Club General Secretary Gazi Saidur Rahman were present in the distribution programme.
The bank has taken a decision to distribute relief materials worth Tk 10 million. Islami Bank Foundation also allotted Tk 3.6 million for the relief and rehabilitation purpose.
