IBBL distributes stipend to 40 meritorious students

RANGPUR, July 31 (BSS): Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) distributed education stipends of Tk 71,000 among 40 students of eight districts in greater Rangpur and Dinajpur here Saturday evening.
The stipends were distributed with a view to inspiring and encouraging the meritorious students in flourishing their talents and acquiring knowledge, IBBL officials said.
A simple ceremony was organised on the occasion in the IBBL auditorium in Rangpur that was chaired by Executive Vice-president and zonal chief of the bank, Bogra Zone, M Abdul Kader and attended by General Manager of Bangladesh Bank, Rangpur M Abdus Sattar as the chief guest.
Managing Director of Rangpur Islami Bank Community Hospital Mohammad Hossain, Associate Prof of Rangpur Carmichael College AHM Abual Islam, President of Rangpur Al Qur'an Trust Moulana Mamtaz Uddin, Rangpur Chamber President Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu and Additional District Magistrate of Rangpur Shamsul Alam were present as special guests.
