IBBL donates Tk 1.0m to DU prof for treatment

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has recently donated Tk 1.0 million (10 lakh) for treatment of Professor Siddiqur Rahman Nizami, chairman of Arabic Department of Dhaka University (DU), said a press release.
IBBL Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan handed over a cheque of the amount to wife of Professor Nizami in presence of DU Vice-chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique.
Also present on the occasion were DU dean of Arts faculty Prof Sadrul Amin and dean of Social Science faculty Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed, and bank's DMD Mohd Shamsul Haque, and EVP and head of Corporate Social Affairs Department Asheque Ahmed Jebal.
